The short version: Your health data stays on your device. The developer has no access to it.
Chronic Health allows you to record health-related information including symptoms, treatments, side effects, and illnesses. This data is entered by you and stored exclusively on your device using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData). The developer does not operate any servers, APIs, or cloud services in connection with this app.
No. The developer has no ability to access, view, retrieve, or collect any data you enter into Chronic Health. There is no account system, no login, no analytics, and no telemetry of any kind. The app does not transmit data over the internet for any purpose.
If you use Apple's iCloud Backup feature on your device, your device backup — which may include Chronic Health's local database — is stored in your iCloud account according to Apple's privacy policy and terms of service. This is an Apple feature managed entirely by you and Apple; the developer has no access to your iCloud account or its contents. You can manage or disable iCloud Backup in your device's Settings.
Chronic Health contains zero third-party SDKs, analytics frameworks, or advertising libraries. The app does not request access to your advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not track you across apps or websites.
When you delete Chronic Health from your device, all locally stored data is deleted with it. Any data that was previously included in an iCloud device backup would be governed by Apple's iCloud data retention policies.
Chronic Health does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app has no account system or means of identifying users of any age.
Chronic Health is a personal journaling and tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions.
If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this same URL with an updated date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
